October Movie Calendar

So life has been super hectic, but with October just around the corner I thought I throw together a list of my top favorite movies/ t.v shows for the month of October.

Let me begin by saying I love all things Halloween and the month of October is filled with a mix of kids classics and hide behind the pillow, sleep with the light on scary movies. This is honestly my movie calendar for October so feel free to watch with me and let me know if there are any new favorites you find! I have most of these movies on DVD or you can find them at Redbox, netflix or amazon!

To start the month off I like to hit up some basic scary movie classics:
Scream (all of them)
The Babysitter (netflix)
Evil Dead
Army of Darkness
Young Frankenstein
Halloween Town  (Disney) round 1
Death Proof
Nightmare on elm street
Friday the 13th
Land of the dead
Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil ( one of my favorites

 As we move closer to Halloween I try to have a nice mix of funny and scary films:
Cabin in the woods (another favorite!)
Silence of the Lambs
Psycho
Burying the Ex
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Zombie Land
Scream Queens (favorite TV show! )
The Final Girl
Scouts Guide to Zombie Apocalypse
Re-binge watch American horror seasons
Any of the Freddy vs Jason movies (cause let's face it they are just classics)

The week of Halloween things get serious and I try to focus on the Halloween theme: 
Fun size (so cute!)
Beetlejuice
Goosebumps

Halloween (the classic & the Rob Zombie remix)
Trick or Treat ( All time favorite and must watch at least twice! )
Idol hands ( one of my favorites!)
Hocus Pocus ( obvious class)
Paranorman
Monster Squad
 Halloween Town  (Disney) round 3
