So, if your like me then you've tried every hair color under the sun. If your not, then your hair is probably WAY healthier and well I'm already jealous! So many times you hear "Blondes have more fun" or " fiery redhead". I'm here to dive deep and give you my own personal incite to the type of sexy each hair style can make you feel, and some hair care tips I've picked up along the way.

Let's start with the newest trend, redheads! There are so many options and I consider rose gold to fall under the redhead spectrum. This hue seems to be taking off, Kate Bosworth just went a slight reddish color, and I think it looks amazing. Now down to the vibe I get and you may too if you go with this lustrous color. Redheads aren't fiery, it just doesn't seem like a complement. They are quick witted and flirtatious. Something about going red makes me feel more confident and provocative, not out spoken, but someone that can keep up with the best of them. There are so few red heads in a crowd you already stand out and so should your personality! Now I've gone deep burgundy, copper, blondish red, pink and rose gold. They are all amazing, but a few pointers to anyone before you take the plunge. Red fades fast, but leaves a copper/red undertone that can be hard to get out. If your a natural blonde, I would suggest going to a salon and having a professional do your dye job. Also, go to someone who has done a lot of red in the past, they will have a good idea of the best color for your skin no matter how red you go. Also, wash with cold water!! COLD WATER ONLY! This helps slow down the fading process. You won't watch your new dye job literally go down the drain. If you like a hot shower then wash your hair in the sink or brave a quick cold shower for your hair! Going redhead shows off you bold sultry side! It takes a daring personality to go red and being fearless is sexy! Be careful in the shower and let that fierce personality shine!

On to my second favorite and most damaging hair color... BLONDE! As a teen I dreamed of having that beach bleach blonde hair, and I was so jealous of those who had it! Being a natural brunette, to go blonde I had to go to a professional and it was expensive for me, but trust me it was worth it! Blondes don't necessarily have more fun, but they sure make one feel more adventurous and like a summer mermaid goddess. When going blonde I tend to just have more fun with my look, which I think makes me feel more sexy. Now when it comes to keeping your blonde locks looking good, it's all about purple shampoo and conditioner. I go brassy quickly so I'd mix Shimmering Lights blonde conditioner with some regular conditioner and leave it on like a mask twice a week. The nice thing about going blonde when having a darker natural color is Kim Kardashian made the dark roots look popular so you have about a month and a half between dye jobs, which some one like me needed. When I went blonde in college roots were not cute so I was dying my hair every 3 weeks. Talk about a killer dye job. Last fun point about going blonde is it creates a nice base if you want to play with fun pastels and other out of the box colors! Being blonde is hard work, BUT if your willing to put in the time and effort you'll feel younger and more spunky, not like a cheerleader, but I like to think more along the lines of Cameron Diaz in Charlies Angles, Natalie Cook!

Last, but not least brunettes. My natural hue, aside from those damn greys that think they are going to start taking over, gives one an alluring appeal. It's that sexy cool vibe, you know the hot unassuming friend in the movie that is the true babe all along! Going brunette is not easy, even though it may seem like a one stop shop, there are varying colors and shades that one can dive into! I mean some of the best things in life are brown; Coffee, chocolate and beer, the trifecta of amazing. This cool girl shade is easy to maintain, but it can be easy to go to dark, so I suggest to start off light and work your way darker if your a blonde and redhead. Also, when I would go from red to brown my copper tones will start to shine through until your my appointment. At the end of the day going brunette just gives you this bad ass, mysteriously chic look. Life is too short not to try something new, so go out and just do it! Dye your hair that shade you've always wanted cause it's only hair and guess what you can always dye it back!
