Wedding season is approaching and let's face it who gets invited to a
wedding and their first thought is "What am I going to wear?".
Now I know all the rules, but why is it still so hard to find something to wear to a wedding. No white, or anything close to it. Don't under dress. Nothing too revealing. Don't wear the wedding colors, I'm not sure if this is a real rule, but you shouldn't look like your apart of the wedding party or like you belong with the decorations. So this leaves one with very few options. My personal go to is the little black dress, I know it's more funeral wear , but you can't go wrong! There are a few other styles I like and would wear if I wasn't so committed to my Morticia Addams vibe. My top picks for this years wedding season are ruffles and jumpers, mainly because they aren't typical bridesmaid styles and they can still allow you to standout without overshadowing anyone. Check out some cute and affordable looks below.

Dress: Urban Outfitters Jacket: Zara |
Also, leather jackets are always a good idea.
Rompers:
A trend I'd love to try now that there are so many options is the classy jumpsuit. No I'm not talking a beach romper, but a nice "almost looks like a dress" jumpsuit. They can be chic enough to wear to a wedding, especially a less formal event and can be dressed up with heals and jewelry. Some awesome options I found....
Ruffles:
Ruffles in my opinion make anything look more elegant. It this feminine detail that is girly yet chic all in one.
